Paris, February 16th 2021 – EDF Renewables is announcing the appointment of Hélène Bauduin from February 15th as Executive Vice-President, Human Resources. She will also have responsibility for health and safety policies and for real estate. She is joining EDF Renewables' Executive Committee and taking over from Nathalie Guyot, who has been appointed Executive Vice-President, Human Resources at Cyclife, the EDF Group's nuclear waste management and decommissioning subsidiary.

Hélène Bauduin gained a master's degree in applied modern languages and is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (IEP). She began her career with the EDF Group in 1991. Previously, she held a series of human resources positions in the distribution department of EDF GDF Services (subsequently renamed Enedis), Provence, at the EDF GDF Paris Tour Eiffel Centre, at the French national nuclear equipment center (CNEN) and at operating engineering unit for nuclear facilities.

In 2007, Hélène joined EDF's Customer division, where she put in place a medium-term plan management system when markets were opened up. In 2009, she was appointed Head of Human Resources at the Nuclear Fuel division, a role in which she developed solutions helping to retain skilled employees and increase mobility.

Between 2013 and 2016, Hélène took charge of employment, recruitment, mobility and diversity for EDF's Production and Engineering division's 45,000 engineering and operational employees working at nuclear, thermal and hydroelectric power plants.

In 2016, she moved to the EDF Group's Human Resources division, where she headed up the mobility and recruitment unit and played a part in enhancing the mobility of employees within the Group.

Bruno Bensasson, EDF Group's Senior Executive Vice President, Renewable Energies and Chairman & CEO of EDF Renewables, commented: “I would like to pay tribute to Nathalie Guyot's invaluable contribution to EDF Renewables' development for almost 20 years. Nathalie coordinated personal development and labor dialogue, consistently demonstrating a high standard of commitment, professionalism and consideration for others. She championed the health and safety policies, especially during the recent pandemic period. On behalf of EDF Renewables, I wish her every success in her new duties as Cyclife's Executive Vice-President, Human Resources. We are delighted to welcome Hélène Bauduin to our organization. I am certain she will bring to bear her expertise in multiple aspects of Human Resources management, helping to drive expansion of renewable energies around the world and the development of our teams as part of our efforts to achieve the
goals of EDF’s CAP 2030 strategy.”
