The EDF group announces several appointments to the financial management of its headquarters and within two general management of its subsidiaries: EDF Renouvelables, the subsidiary of the EDF group for the development of new renewable energies and Dalkia, the main energy services subsidiary of the group EDF.
Emilio Zito is appointed Mergers & Acquisitions Director of the EDF group. He replaces Aymeric Ducrocq, appointed Financial Director of EDF Renewables. Denis Rouhier, who previously held this position, is appointed Financial Director of Dalkia.
These appointments are effective from 1er November 2020.
Emilio Zito, Mergers & Acquisitions Director of the EDF group
Emilio Zito joined the EDF group in 2008 as Investments, Mergers & Acquisitions manager. Upon his arrival, he initiated and supervised a large number of acquisitions, sales and partnerships, at different levels of the energy sector value chain (assets under development, construction and operation) and on different types of assets. infrastructure.
Between 2011 and 2018, he moved to London and took charge of the M&A activities of EDF Energy, the subsidiary of the EDF group in the United Kingdom. He notably led the raising of capital for the Hinkley Point C nuclear project in England, as well as the negotiations of the associated partnership, and the entry of investors into the capital of the Group's renewable assets in the country.
Emilio began his career in investment banking in London then at Procter & Gamble in Geneva. He studied in Milan, Paris and the United States. He holds two degrees in Management from Bocconi University in Milan and HEC Paris and has a Certificate in Finance from the University of San Diego in California.
Aymeric Ducrocq, Financial Director of EDF Renewables
A former student of the National School of Administration (ENA) and graduate of the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Paris, Aymeric Ducrocq began his career in 2004 at the General Directorate of the Treasury, at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance.
In 2008, he was seconded to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and notably participated in the reform of governance and the IMF's intervention methods in the face of the global financial crisis.
In 2011, he joined the State Participation Agency (APE) at the Ministry of Finance. He is in charge of various participations in companies held by the State. He then became Director of Industry Investments where he led numerous capital operations on behalf of the State shareholder.
In 2016, he joined the financial management of the EDF group, where he held the position of Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. He manages asset acquisition and disposal operations in the Group's various businesses, particularly in renewable energies and storage. Since 2017, he has also been responsible for Investor Relations and Markets and in this capacity supervises all of the Group's financial publications, as well as relations with debt and equity investors.
Denis Rouhier, Financial Director of Dalkia
Denis Rouhier began his career in 1990 at Cegelec, where he acquired experience monitoring turnkey projects in an operational environment of business engineers through internal audit, then as Management Controller of a unit (Dispatching export).
In 1999, he joined EDEV, EDF's Financial Holding Company, as Financial Controller; it thus complements its skills in the "corporate" areas, capital transactions, investments and financing, as well as the issues of consolidation, transition to IFRS standards and acceleration of closing times (Clemessy, Tiru, ASA in Austria…). He is also in charge of the transfer of EDEV's interests to Dalkia as part of the creation of the EDF Services Division.
At the end of 2005, he joined EDF Renewables, to prepare the company for the IPO which will take place in November 2006. He is in charge of the Group Controlling function, which he structures and manages to meet the requirements of a group listed on the SBF 120, in a context of strong international growth.
In October 2012, he was appointed Group Financial Director of EDF Renewables, member of the Management Committee. In addition to the Controlling function, he is also in charge of the areas of Taxation, Treasury – Structured Finance and, since 2017, Mergers & Acquisitions and Sales of Structured Assets, including the acquisition in France of the company Futuren in the field of onshore wind power and more recently from the company Luxel in photovoltaics as part of the implementation of the EDF Group's Solar Plan.
Denis Rouhier is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion de Paris.
