Involve residents in the energy transition of their region

With a total installed capacity of 2.8 MW, the Mazet-Saint-Voy photovoltaic power plant is made up of 5,346 panels. It will produce 3.73 GWh annually, the equivalent of the electricity consumption of around 1,350 inhabitants. The project was carried out jointly with the municipality of Mazet-Saint-Voy throughout the duration of the project's development. Work on the plant began in January 2022. Commissioning is planned for the second half of 2022.

Decarbonize your savings by participating in a short circuit project

This participatory capital financing allows investors to support the energy transition of the municipality of Mazet-Saint-Voy by financing the redevelopment of an old quarry, while benefiting from economic spinoffs. This is the opportunity to decarbonize their savings by participating in a short circuit project. Investors will be kept informed of the construction site and the production of the plant.

For Francis Audigier, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes regional manager of EDF Renewables: “We are very pleased to offer citizens the opportunity to participate in crowdfunding for the Mazet-Saint-Voy photovoltaic power plant. This new achievement confirms the full mobilization of EDF Renewables on two major urgent issues: the energy transition and economic recovery. To do this, we work hand in hand with the territories to create projects shared with as many people as possible. ".
