This agreement is a continuation of a framework agreement signed in 2018 between the EDF group and CCI France to develop industrial activity and employment in the field of low-carbon activities.

The purpose of the agreement is to extend to the national level cooperation already in place in certain coastal regions and to generalize the use of the CCI Business system of which CCI Normandie is the national operator. The CCI Business system is based on a digital platform, initially developed in Normandy, a national business animation and expertise system and the unique territorial coverage of the CCI network.

In order to facilitate access to orders from French SMEs and ETIs, this agreement provides for several components:

A visibility component, making it possible to provide companies using the CCI Business digital platform with up-to-date information on its projects, their planning, forecast needs and its referencing procedures,

– A AMI component (Calls for Expressions of Interest) making it possible to optimize the sourcing of local companies,

– A Business component, making it possible to rely on local skills and consular structures for tailor-made services: business meetings, thematic workshops, specific actions (training engineering, certification, specific support).

As part of the national deployment of the approach, in addition to the national professional referent, CCI France has set up a network of priority correspondents for all of the 7 French coastal regions.

  • Cédric LE BOUSSE, Director of Marine Renewable Energy France at EDF Renewables, declared: “With this agreement, which usefully complements the local content charter signed with the specialized clusters, EDF Renewables intends to continue its contribution to the development of the French industrial sector. We have been working in partnership with CCI Business since 2012 and appreciate the national coverage of the system and its effectiveness. CCI Business allows us to better identify and support all French SMEs and mid-sized companies interested in the sector and to facilitate their access to markets linked to our projects. »
  • Alain Di Crescenzo, president of CCI France, declared: “The CCI network supports companies in their energy and digital transition efforts, and acts to accelerate France's economic sovereignty. With “CCI Business”, the CCIs have a national digital platform which makes it possible to connect companies in the same sector to stimulate initiatives and create useful connections to boost a sector. This signing of a partnership agreement with EDF Renewables aims to accelerate the development of the French offshore wind industrial sector. This approach shows the commitment of the CCI network to the construction of a more competitive and competitive French economy. more sustainable. »
  • Gilles TREUIL, President of CCI Normandie, declared: “In Normandy, CCI Business has become our accelerator of the relationship between companies and major regional markets. This accelerator responds to numerous challenges including those of France Relance around local purchasing, sectors of the future, and the reconstruction of cutting-edge industrial sectors in France. »
