EDF Energies Nouvelles signs a new global framework agreement with Vestas

In this framework agreement, Vestas commits to favorable prices and conditions for the supply of onshore wind turbines which will be the subject of firm orders from EDF EN for deliveries over the period 2012-2014.

In return, EDF Energies Nouvelles undertakes to equip at least 50% of its projects under development in Europe with Vestas wind turbines and at least 30% of those under development in the United States for which supply has not yet been secured.

As part of this agreement, EDF Energies Nouvelles today signed an order with a total capacity of 180 MW for European projects.

We will probably sign supply agreements with our other historical partners but this one is, without a doubt, major and structuring and will allow us to provide competitive renewable energy solutions. »
