EDF Energies Nouvelles continues to develop its operation-maintenance activity with more than 13 GW under management worldwide

EDF Energies Nouvelles announces strong growth in its operation-maintenance (O&M) activity of renewable energy installations, for its own account and on behalf of third parties.
In the first half of 2015, EDF Energies Nouvelles' O&M activity recorded growth of 16% compared to the end of 2014, reaching 13.6 GW of capacity under management in 10 countries. The overall activity mainly focuses on the management of wind farms (12 GW) and solar power plants (1.4 GWp).

Strengthening positions in Europe

The activity of EDF EN Services, the subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles dedicated to O&M in Europe, is growing by more than 261TP3Q.

This 633 MW increase in assets managed by EDF EN Services allows the group to reach 3 GW in Europe for the first time in the first half of 2015, compared to 2.4 GW at the end of 2014.

This significant increase is explained by growth in O&M activities in wind power, particularly in Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland. The half-year was also marked by the entry of EDF EN Services into Belgium, its seventh country of operation in Europe after France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Poland and Greece.

Continued development in North America

EDF Renewable Services, the subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles dedicated to this activity in North America, recorded an increase of 131TP3Q in its O&M activity.

Strengthening its positions in the United States, Canada and Mexico, EDF Renewable Services won nearly 1,230 MW of new assets to manage during the first half of 2015.

To date, EDF Renewable Services has exceeded 10 GW of capacity under management in operation and maintenance.
