From July 12 (at 6 p.m.), the Aramon photovoltaic project (5 MWp), supported by EDF Energies Nouvelles, a leading player in renewable energies in France, is the subject of a crowdfunding campaign, on the leading digital investment platform WiSEED. This campaign, whose proposed yield is 5.5% per year over 4 years, aims to raise €200,000 from the inhabitants of the 7 bordering departments of Gard to participate in financing the construction of the photovoltaic power plant on the site of a thermal power plant under deconstruction in Aramon.
A virtuous and sustainable project, in touch with the challenges of the territory in which it is located
Initiated in 2016, the Aramon solar project was awarded to EDF Energies Nouvelles in March 2017, as part of the CRE 4 call for tenders relating to ground-mounted solar power plants. The future photovoltaic power plant, made up of more than 13,500 photovoltaic panels, is located in the eponymous commune, in Gard (30).
Installed on the site of a thermal power station being deconstructed, it allows the revaluation of land and contributes to the Energy Transition. Its construction should take place in the fall of 2018 for commissioning of the solar power plant in the first quarter of 2019.

EDF Energies Nouvelles is launching a collection of €200,000 intended to finance a ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant of nearly 5 MWp. Investing in this project allows savers to obtain a return of 5.5% per year over 4 years (excluding taxes).
As stipulated in the call for tenders, only residents of certain departments will be able to invest in this project: these are residents of Gard (30) and its neighboring departments of Ardèche (07), Aveyron (12), Bouches-du-Rhône (13), Hérault (34), Lozère (48) and Vaucluse (84).
For David Augeix, South Development Director of EDF Energies Nouvelles: “This crowdfunding campaign marks a step in the development of the Aramon solar power plant project. EDF Energies Nouvelles meets the expectations of all project stakeholders by involving them closely and directly. »
For Jean-Marc Clerc, ENR Development Manager at WiSEED: “ We are delighted to be able to announce our collaboration with EDF Energies Nouvelles, a key player in energy production in France and around the world, and to launch this first collection in the South of France. This photovoltaic project linked to the deconstruction of an old thermal power station is a quality project, which we are proud to be able to offer on WiSEED, and which allows us to have a real impact on the energy transition in France ".
