EDF Energies Nouvelles becomes EDF Renewables

A major player in renewable energies, yesterday emerging and today at the heart of the energy mix, EDF Energies Nouvelles becomes EDF Renouvelables. This new identity reflects the EDF Group's ambitions to double its renewable capacities in France and around the world, between 2015 and 2030.

The rebranding, in France, of EDF Energies Nouvelles for EDF Renouvelables, constitutes the final stage of the company's brand harmonization process initiated this year. It comes after the deployment last April, in around twenty countries, of the EDF Renewables brand for its international subsidiaries, where around fifteen different brands previously coexisted.

“With this new brand, EDF Renewables in France and EDF Renewables internationally, we are establishing ourselves as a world leader in renewable energies which is accelerating its development with strong ambitions in onshore and offshore wind, solar and storage. , convinced that these solutions have now won a place in their own right in the energy mix. Our objective is to continue to innovate to combine performance and responsibility in order to support territories and companies that are committed to fighting climate change. », declared Bruno Bensasson, Chairman and CEO of EDF Renewables and Group Executive Director in charge of the Renewable Energy Sector.

By choosing this new brand in France, the company affirms its identity through a strong, unique corporate culture, common to all its subsidiaries. Symbol of the journey accomplished by the EDF Group subsidiary dedicated to renewable energies, this brand change strengthens the brand equity of the EDF Group at the same time as it underlines the importance it attaches to renewables.
