EDF Energies Nouvelles commissions a 23 MW wind farm in Hérault

In line with its development policy in wind power in France, EDF EN announces the commissioning of a wind farm with a capacity of 23 MW in Fraïsse-sur-Agoût, in Hérault.

This park, made up of 10 turbines with a unit power of 2.3 MW, was developed and built by EDF EN France. Operation and maintenance will be carried out by Enercon and EDF EN Services.

Atypical in its location, the park is located at an altitude of 1000 m in a very windy area. At full capacity, it should produce around 90,000 MWh per year, the equivalent of the electricity consumption of 50,000 inhabitants.

This park is number 44th developed and produced by EDF Energies Nouvelles on French territory since its creation.
