Building on its international presence and its leading position on the French market in the operation and maintenance of renewable energy installations, EDF Energies Nouvelles is organizing the international Summit: “Operations and Maintenance Summit” for the first time in France . Initiated in 2013 in the United States, it will be held once a year, alternately in each zone. A professional seminar for European and American park owners and investment groups, its objective is to establish discussions on the major issues of managing the operation and maintenance of wind and solar power plants. This seminar will be held from June 2 to 4, 2014 in Ile-de-France.
Program of the “Operations and Maintenance Summit”
Several themes will be developed during conferences and round tables:
– How to take security into account on a daily basis?
– What are the criteria for the effectiveness of a maintenance and engineering team?
– Research & Development challenges for remote equipment supervision and management systems;
– The supervision center, a key element of performance;
– What are the means to exceed the performance and profitability objectives of the installations?
– What are the prospects for innovation for new services?

With more than 9 GW of capacity managed in Europe and North America, the operation and maintenance activity of the EDF Energies Nouvelles group is developing, notably with growth in Europe of 30% in 2013.
The “Operations and Maintenance Summit” is an opportunity to share more than 25 years of experience and technical expertise oriented towards the performance and improvement of the lifespan of wind and solar installations.

– More than 1,000 employees worldwide including 434 in Europe;
– Nearly 500 wind (onshore and offshore) and solar (roof and ground) installations, including 352 in Europe;
– A network of operation-maintenance centers:
*In Europe: France, Greece, United Kingdom, Poland and Germany (in Belgium and Italy: structures under creation);
*in North America: United States, Canada and Mexico.
– Two supervision centers:
*in France at Colombiers (Hérault), for all European parks;
*in the United States in San Diego, (California), for parks located in North America.
