To achieve the objectives of EDF's Cap 2030 strategic plan in the field of renewables, particularly internationally, and to strengthen the presence of EDF Energies Nouvelles in decentralized production, Antoine Cahuzac, Managing Director of EDF Energies Nouvelles and Group Executive Director in charge of Renewable Energies, modifies the composition of the EDF Energies Nouvelles Management Committee:
- Frédéric Belloy becomes International Director (excluding North America)
His mission will be to lead the company's international development strategy, particularly in emerging countries, and to optimize synergies between the 20 countries in which EDF Energies Nouvelles is present.
- Nicolas Couderc is appointed Director of France and Distributed Energies
Nicolas Couderc will aim to develop the activities of EDF Energies Nouvelles in France, in onshore wind power, photovoltaics and distributed energies, the importance of which is set to grow with the emergence of self-consumption. With 1.4 gigawatt (GW) of installed capacity, EDF Energies Nouvelles is one of the leaders in renewable energies in France.
For Antoine Cahuzac, Managing Director: “In line with the strategy of the EDF Group and the growth of renewable energies, EDF Energies Nouvelles contributes every day to the energy transition. As we enter a new phase of our development, I have decided to reorganize the Management Committee of EDF Energies Nouvelles so that it reflects the diversity of the Group's professions and geographies and that we pursue development together. of EDF Energies Nouvelles, in France and abroad”.
