EDF Energies Nouvelles commissions the Joncels wind farm and strengthens its positions in Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées

EDF Energies Nouvelles announces the commissioning of the Joncels wind farm with an installed capacity of 11.9 MW.
In the Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées region, which has a quality wind regime, the group currently operates 444.2 MW of wind power, or nearly 45% of local wind installations.

The wind farm is built on the territory of the commune of Joncels, in the department of Hérault.
Made up of 14 turbines, it has an installed capacity of 11.9 MW.
The annual production of this installation is equivalent to the electricity consumption of approximately 13,500 inhabitants.
