EDF Renewables, Eiffage and Lendosphere are launching three crowdfunding campaigns for the construction of the Nitry, Subligny and Col de Bessey solar power plants

Paris, March 3, 2022 – EDF Renewables announces the opening today of crowdfunding platforms, via Lendosphere, for the construction of the Nitry and Subligny solar power plants in Yonne, and the Col de Bessey in Côte-d' Gold.

These collections will allow the local population to invest between March 3 and April 30, 2022 in these photovoltaic plants. The fundraising campaigns will be open exclusively to residents of the local department, Yonne and Côte d'Or, and neighboring departments. Investors will be regularly informed of the progress of the sites and their electricity production once the plants are commissioned.

These solar power plants will be installed on abandoned highways belonging to the company APRR (Eiffage group), unused land located near the A6 and the A19. Eiffage took a minority stake in these power plants via its subsidiary Routasun, managed by Eiffage Concessions and dedicated to the development, financing, construction, maintenance and operation of photovoltaic projects on abandoned motorways. Part of the construction of these power plants was entrusted to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes.

For Alexandre Margain, Burgundy-Franche-Comté regional manager of EDF Renewables: “These solar power plants are the result of close collaboration between the territories, the Eiffage group and EDF Renewables, but also the desire of the municipalities to engage in renewable energies. They are fully in line with national and regional energy transition ambitions. »

This participatory capital financing makes it possible to involve residents in the energy transition of their region while benefiting from economic spinoffs, and for investors to decarbonize their savings by participating in a short-circuit project.

The investment terms (yield, duration, etc.) for each solar power plant are presented respectively on:

Focus on the Nitry solar power plant

With a total installed capacity of 3.8 MWp, the Nitry photovoltaic plant is made up of around 7,600 panels. It will produce 4.3 GWh annually, equivalent to the average annual electricity consumption of around 1,900 people, or nearly 30 % in the town of Avallon. The project, which obtained a favorable decision from the municipal council in 2019, was carried out jointly with the municipality of Nitry throughout the duration of its development. The work began at the end of January 2022 with earthworks and the construction of tracks and platforms. Commissioning is planned for October 2022. Open to the departments of Aube (10), Côte-d'Or (21), Loiret (45), Nièvre (58) and Seine-et -Marne (77), the campaign costs €80,000. To view it, click here.

Focus on the Subligny and Villeneuve-La-Dondagre solar power plant

With a total installed capacity of 10 MWp, the Subligny and Villeneuve-La-Dondagre photovoltaic power plant is made up of approximately 26,000 photovoltaic modules. It will produce 10.5 GWh annually, equivalent to the average annual electricity consumption of around 4,600 people. The project was carried out jointly with the community of communes of Gâtinais in Burgundy. The work started in August 2021 with cleaning the land, earthworks and the construction of tracks and platforms. Since January 2022, the structures for the installation of photovoltaic panels have been being installed. The commissioning of the plant is scheduled for July 2022. Open to the departments of Aube (10), Côte-d'Or (21), Loiret (45), Nièvre (58) and Seine-et-Marne (77), the campaign amounts to €235,000. To view it, click here.

Focus on the Col de Bessey solar power plant

With a total installed capacity of 5 MWp, the Col de Bessey photovoltaic power plant is made up of approximately 9,300 panels. It will produce 5.7 GWh annually, equivalent to the average annual electricity consumption of around 2,500 inhabitants. The project was carried out jointly with the municipalities of Bessey-en-Chaume and Aubaine throughout the duration of the project's development. The work began in September 2021 with cleaning the land, earthworks and the construction of tracks and platforms. Commissioning is planned for September 2022. Open to the departments of Aube (10), Jura (39), Haute-Marne (52), Nièvre (58), Haute-Saône (70 ), Saône-et-Loire (71) and Yonne (89), the campaign amounts to €120,000. To view it, click here.
