EDF Energies Nouvelles is an Event Ambassador at the 2015 European Wind Energy Association’s (EWEA) annual exhibition that takes place in Paris between November, 17th and 20th 2015. More than 8,000 participants and 200 companies are expected at this European wind power professionals’ important event, taking place in Paris from November 17th to 20th, 2015.
During this event, EDF EN’s teams are present at stand K05 in Pavilion 1 of the Parc des Exhibitions venue at Porte de Versailles in Paris.
EDF Energies Nouvelles is a major player in the European and worldwide wind energy industry. Onshore and offshore wind energy represents its main area of growth, accounting for 86% of its total installed capacity.
EDF EN, an integrated renewable energy operator, covers the entire scope of a wind energy project. Drawing on its capabilities as a high-performance specialist at the cutting edge of innovation, EDF EN seeks out areas of improvement at every stage of the process to hone wind energy’s competitiveness and help it make an even larger contribution to Europe’s energy mix.
“Every year, the EWEA event is an opportunity to meet wind energy professionals, partners, turbine manufacturers, component suppliers, research institutes and developers.
In Paris this year, the EWEA 2015 still takes place despite the deadly attacks of November 13th. We also wanted to support this industry event and show our commitment to this renewable energy source, which has a major role to play in the energy transition just a few days ahead of the COP 21. We are making long term investments in R&D alongside our dynamic partners to improve performance and make the industry more competitive”, said Antoine Cahuzac, Chief Executive Officer of EDF Energies Nouvelles.
EDF Energies Nouvelles’ specialists are present at the Group’s stand at the EWEA 2015 to present its flagship activities and latest innovations:
