The financial consolidator is responsible for combining the accounting and financial balance sheets.

It ensures the reliability of the documents communicated, while ensuring the smooth flow of information between headquarters and the subsidiaries.

this job

“Our role as a consolidator is to collect, control and reprocess the financial data of French and foreign subsidiaries in order to verify the consistency of the financial information reported by the local accounting teams. »

“We analyze the consolidated data, in particular via specific cross-functional studies, in order to monitor the Group's key indicators such as the cash flow tables, the variation in debt, the working capital requirement, etc. After that we present the figures and our analysis to management. A final important point lies in supporting subsidiaries, in particular by providing them with support on issues of reporting, analysis and compliance with IFRS standards. The constant international development of EDF Renewables leads us to deal with varied issues depending on the specificities of each country. »

Training

Bac +5 type Masters, DESS, DEA (Business, engineering or university schools) with a specialization in accounting and finance, for young graduates or experienced profiles.

“To access this position, experience of at least one year in a consolidation or audit consulting firm is preferable. For my part, I started in a junior position, allowing me to acquire new skills and understand the EDF Renewables environment.
“As we work in an international environment, mastery of English is essential. Also a profile that knows how to communicate easily and work in a team is particularly appreciated, due to the exchanges that we continually have internally and externally. »
“The job of consolidator is different from work in general accounting. We have an advisory role to the various finance teams, but also a key role in communicating the Group's financial information to third parties. You have to love numbers, challenges, and continually learn! »
